Awaken is a one-off body of work created exclusively for Kerrie Kent’s first solo exhibition - a deeply personal collection inspired by her journey of recovery following endocarditis and sepsis in 2021.
Bringing together original acrylic paintings, limited-edition lino prints, ceramic sculptures and the Heart of Gold jewellery collection, the exhibition explores themes of survival, transformation, vulnerability and the extraordinary process of finding your way back to yourself.
This exhibition is a bucket-list moment for Kerrie: two weeks as Artist in Residence, bringing together a collection of work that marks a new chapter in her creative practice and celebrates the act of simply being here.
You are warmly invited to the Private View, where you will have the first opportunity to experience Awaken and purchase pieces from the collection before the exhibition opens to the public.

Designed by Kerrie Kent, the Brave Heart Pin is a small symbol of courage, strength and survival.
Created to honour those living with heart disease, those taken too soon, and those who continue to fight, each pin is a reminder of the incredible resilience of the human heart.
Wear it proudly as a quiet mark of solidarity, remembrance or your own heart journey, and perhaps as a starting point for a conversation that might otherwise never happen.

LOVE - Limited Edition Canvas Bag
A bag for carrying everything. And a little bit of love.
I’ve taken one of my favourite everyday bags - a heavyweight tie-dye canvas tote - and turned it into something a little more special. Each bag is hand-painted by Kerrie Kent, with the word LOVE painted in vivid neon orange across the front.
No two will ever be exactly the same. Each one is painted individually, by hand, so there will be natural variations in the paint, brushwork and finish. That’s part of the point.
Only 20 bags have been made.
